I have worked in the both the Publishing and IT/Technology Consulting industries for over 20 years. As a consultant as well as an employee, I've seen virtually every facet of the publishing industry, from acquisition to production management, design to fulfillment, systems to finance. From my initial blooding at the sport of getting manuscripts off of paper and into computers, I am a keen proponent of automating as much of the drudgery of the publishing process as possible. Not content being contained in a single pigeon-hole, I like to hang out in the space where words, design, production and marketing come together, so that I'm never bored with the current hat I'm wearing.
