I work from home. It’s some­thing I’ve done, on and off, for decades. Not exclu­sively, and not always will­ingly, but I’ve learned in that time that work­ing from home can be the most effi­cient way of get­ting things done. I also work with oth­ers, both in offices and vir­tu­ally, and I’ve always been able to get things done by myself. but some­times the really big stuff takes a lot of coor­di­na­tion. That’s where the net­work con­nec­tions come in.

We can’t be experts in every­thing. Knowing where strengths lie, and how best to put together the col­lec­tion of tal­ent for any par­tic­u­lar project is often the key ingre­di­ent to suc­cess for that prod­uct. That’s one of the things I do.
